Job Description: Project Manager - Environmental, IN

Job Purpose: This position is responsible for managing project techincal, schedule and budget requirements from inception to delivery and, conduct field work, mentor junior staff and, support other project managers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering, geology or chemistry.
  • 5-15 years experience in site investigation and remediation activities.
  • Leaking UST technical and reporting exprience a must.
  • Proven ability to perform field work, write reports and manage multiple sites in a quality manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules within budget.
  • Proven ability to maintain good relationships with clients and create momentum sales.
  • Working knowledge of state environmental programs preferred (IDEM, EPA).
  • PG, CHMM, PE preferred.
Duties:
  1. Manage and conduct environmental assessments, investigation and remediation activities for environmental remediation projects. Complete environmental projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  2. Develops project objectives by preparing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  3. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  4. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  5. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  6. Meets project financial objectives by preparing a budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  7. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  8. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.

Job Description: Environmental O&M technician, IN

Job Purpose: This position is responsible to maintain and repair remediation systems on project sites.

Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently, using knowledge gained from increasing experience.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with project managers and management at all levels.
  • Self-sufficient and ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work as team member with people of differing backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Must be ready to work overtime when necessary and travel frequently to multiple job sites.
  • Basic computer use and applications skills required.
  • Ability to successfully pass a company-paid physical, background check and drug screen.
  • Data evaluation and report preparation is a plus.
  • Experience with programmable logic is a plus.
Duties:
  1. Perform routine operation and maintenance (O&M) tasks for soil vapor extraction (SVE), dual phase extraction (DPE), and pump and treat remediation systems.
  2. Perform non-routine O&M tasks in response to unexpected spills and/or emergencies.
  3. Maintain and repair equipment by tightening fittings; draining and cleaning of remediation vessels; and replacing valves, packing, bag filters, gaskets, gauges, etc.; and oiling and lubricating other component parts as required.
  4. Open and close valves, circuit breakers, and control panel switches as required for proper system operation and isolation of energy sources.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve remediation system malfunctions.
  6. Set up and operate various tools and instruments to repair and maintain parts and equipment.
  7. Collect soil, groundwater and vapor samples for laboratory analysis.
  8. Calibrate equipment and maintain calibration logs.
  9. Be able to conduct onsite discharge permit compliance checks.
  10. Manage waste derived from remediation systems, including recovered oil, sludge, activated carbon, filter paper, and personal protection equipment (PPE) in accordance with project requirements.
  11. Provide detailed status of remediation equipment to project managers.


Job Description: Senior Project Manager - Remediation - Environmental, IN

Job Purpose: This position is responsible to provide technical advice for the design and operations and maintenance of Remediation systems. Should be able to manage projects from inception to delivery and support other project managers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelorís Degree in engineering, geology or chemistry.
  • 10-25 yearsí experience in site investigation and remediation activities.
  • Proven ability with pilot testing, design and operation of active remediation systems (SVE, P&T, DPE, etc.).
  • System effectiveness evaluation experience.
  • Proven ability to perform field work, write reports and manage multiple sites in a quality manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules within budget.
  • Working knowledge of IDEM and IEPA regulations.Should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
  • PG or PE preferred.

Job Purpose: This position is responsible to provide administrative support to the President and Office Manager.Also will deal with sensitive information and frequently changing calendars, travel arrangements, meetings and business schedules

Requirements:

  • Sophisticated user of MS Office & Outlook, especially excel.

Duties:
  1. General Administration.
  2. Conduct research to prepare, gather and proof materials, agenda and PowerPoint decks for executive level meetings.
  3. Attend and administer routine staff meetings, tracking key milestones and coordinating schedules.
  4. Develop and maintain an alert system for upcoming deadlines on incoming requests and events.
  5. Manage travel arrangements and coordinate pre-planning of trips and conference registrations.
  6. Assess urgency and prioritize before accepting or declining appointments and meetings with Executives and properly screen incoming vendor calls.
  7. Distribute company-wide announcements, book conference rooms and coordinate functional events.
  8. Ensure consultant contracts, statements of work, and insurance licenses are up-to-date.
  9. Run reports to assist managers with preparing their budgets.
  10. Prepare spreadsheets showing cost center comparisons.
  11. Prepare slides for FP&A budget review presentation.
  12. Analyze monthly department budgets and headcount data and updating of organizational charts.
  13. Frequently use word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, data base and presentation software.
